Primark P.s nail polish review

I used to be obsessed with nail art and painting my nails but I found myself spending a fortune on polishes that I already had in different brands. When Primark launched their p.s beauty range I instantly fell for the polishes. For Christmas I found 5 bold colours in my stocking and I was so excited to try them out. The colours range from pastels to bold colours and even glitter polishes too and for a pound each how can you complain? The only downsides I found were some of the brushes were a bit dodgy but still worked fine and I'm slightly disappointed they don't have indivual cool shade names.. Sometimes I'll buy a nail varnish purely because of the name!

I got a pale (what I like to all a Cinderella blue) sky blue, a coral orange, lilac, jade green and a darker blue.

I love them all and as you can see I couldn't chose so I use them all!

Have you tried anything from primarks new beauty range?

My Christmas nail colour!

I was buying some Barry M nail varnishes as Christmas presents for a friend and the 3 for 2 offer was on and it was silly not to get one free.. So I may have purchased two nail varnishes for myself!

As it's winter and Christmas is literally just around the corner, I decided to pick out this beautiful 'Raspberry' colour, a deep pink/red polish from the normal polish collection.

I'm not the biggest fan of the Barry M nail varnish quality, however, out of all brands, I feel like Barry M have the biggest and best (if i must) colour and shade range.

It's my fave polish for Christmas at the minute and I really do think it captures the festiveness as a colour!

ESSIE: Cascade Cool | Review

The first time i used/bought an Essie polish was back in January, and i won't lie.. I fell in love! It literally was like love at first sight.

Today I have a review on Cascade Cool, a shade of my ever growing nail polish collection.

When i received this polish, i took one look at it and immediately thought of fruity yoghurt's i used to eat as a youngster, you know the ones i mean- Cherry, Strawberry and Raspberry with the bits in? Not that this nail varnish has lumps or seeds in it-haha!

It's almost a lavender leading pink with slight blue undertones seeping through.

Essie are one of my all time favourite polishes, due to the brushes being a perfect width to cover the whole nail in one swipe but carry enough product to give an even, fully coated finish.

This particular polish is a creamy consistency, and only needs two coats at a push (1 coat still looks amazing), but leaves a glossy, high shine look once dried.

An amazing colour to wear casually throughout the spring and summer months for an almost pastel vibe but can also compliment a more classy put together outfit to look a little high class.

Definitely a colour i would recommend checking out because i adore it so very much.

Have you tried any of the Essie polishes? Which shade is your favourite?

Easter bunny nail art! | demiDOODLES

Hiiii guyssss    :)

I thought I'd do a little 'how to' nail art post today as Ive finally found some time to sit down, relax and do some pretty nail art for myself!

I love love love painting my nails and trying out new designs and patterns, and seeing as though Easter is literally just around the corner, what better than to paint some pretty little bunnies for my finger tips. Okay, so i wouldn't call this a tutorial as i haven't taken pictures of every little detail of the design but hopefully you'll get the gist of things!

(Click on the pictures to make them bigger!)

Step 1. Paint your nails with a pretty pastel colour, for this design i chose Essie- Neo Whimsical, 2 coats and leave to dry (I chose to do bunnies on each nails except the ring finger which i put glitter on.)

Step 2. Taking a white nail polish, create a half circle shape on the top of your nail (leave enough room for your bunny ears!!)

Step 3. Using a smaller brush or by flattening the white nail polish brush, make 2 smaller lines towards your cuticles to form the ears. Leave to dry before adding the next details.

Step 4. Once the nail is dry, use a pink colour to make a small like inside the ears and two small dots for the cheeks (i used the polish i used for the background- Essie: Neo Whimsical)

Step 5. Using a black polish and a dotting tool (or a toothpick), make two little dots closer together and above the cheeks, these give the bunny some eyes!

Step 6. Next, make a very small upside down 'T' to form the nose and mouth using the black varnish. Then, using the black again, make 2 or 3 lines on each side of your rabbits cheeks for cute little whiskers (you can create these lines using a toothpick and a dotting technique, making the dots overlap to make a smooth looking line).

Step 7. Finish with a coat of your favourite top coat and leave to dry.

And there you have your cute little bunny rabbits on your finger nails!

Will you be trying this out, or maybe your own design with an Easter theme?

Primark pieces..

Okay so as i said not too long ago, i started my christmas shopping but actually bought myself some bits.

Primark is by far my favourite shop, it has everything for such good prices but over the past year or so, their prices have definitely crept their way up for no reason what so ever and i am not a happy bunny. I remember the days when you could buy a pretty knitted jumper for £5, perfect pj sets for no more than £4 and so on and i cant ever seem tot find clothes for less than £8 now and that's just for a simple blouse or plain jumper..

But, rant aside, i love finding cheap beauty bits or jewellery and i get so excited seeing a sale rack with a '£5' sign on it (being the cheapskate i am). I never seem to buy lots of things in one trip to primark, i get bits here and there and although its only 3 things, i thought it would be nice to share with you what i have been enjoying lately from the wonderland itself...

The first thing i bought was this leopard/cheetah print short sleeved blouse from £12 to £5! It has pretty gold button at the front and on the sleeves and black shoulders and its just so pretty.

Next was this 4 pack of nail varnishes which consist of purple, bright pink, mint green and baby blue which were only £2. I tried these on my nails a few weeks back and they lasted so well and only needed 2 coats which isn't at all bad considering they are primark!

And last but not least, when i got to the check out of one of my trips to primark, my mum spotted this product which is Argan Oil. It states that it is a healing shine hair treatment and cost around £2.50. I used it on my hair 2 nights ago; washed my hair, blow dried it and out a small amount through the ends of my hairs (avoiding roots as the instructions say) and then straightened it as i usually would. I must admit, my hair has been feeling really dry and horrible lately but after using this i actually felt a difference, it looks healthier and feels slightly more soft, and im hoping after a few more drops of this my hair will be back to its natural soft self in no time. I would definitely recommend this oil if your hair feels dry or frizzed at the ends from straighteners and blow dryers etc.

Hope you have all had a good week and enjoyed halloween?! Also, have any of you found anything worth browsing for in primark lately? One last thing (i seem to ramble a lot lately, i know) BUT, i won a competition last night thanks to Helen ! A Jenny Colgan book which i cannot wait to read eeek!!

TAG: most worn summer things!

Okay so im gonna go ahead and do a post on my very first tag 'most worn summer things'. It's been fun thinking back to how much i have actually used/worn certain things summer so i hope you enjoy this post!

What is your most worn nail polish?
 - This is one of my many nail art pens. It's a silver glitter but has greens, oranges, blues and purples in it making it look like pixie dust! I can paint my nails a silver and put this over the top to make it look like a huge disco ball or use it in a nail pattern to have just a hint of glitter for when the sun catches it.

What is your most worn scent?
- My most worn scent has to be my Christina Aguilera Royal Desire perfume which i got as a present for Christmas, i love it so much and it smells deeeeelish. I really love the little heart shaped charm with the initials CA on it giving it a cute touch. Im so gutted that it is almost empty though, but it will be on my christmas list again this year!

What is your most worn hair product?
- This summer i've started back combing my hair quite a bit to give it some oomph and volumosity, so to keep it in place i've sprayed it with Professional Touch Salon Hairspray-High Gloss Super Hold. I bought this in Savers for £1 at the beginning of the year and started using it in June, I've loved it so much, it does its job and doesnt leave your hair sticky or crispy but soft and strong.

What is your most worn bag?
- A black bag with brown stitching. My mum used to use this until the zip broke and i asked for it. Its real leather so i can see it lasting a long time. Im not that bothered about the zip because it sits so you cant see into it anyway. Its versatile and goes with almost everything i wear, its light and really comfy to wear on your shoulder or arm

What are your most worn shoes?
- I wore my Primark blue and white striped espadrilles mainly this summer. They were such a bargain at £3 but fell a part quite quickly, probably because of how much i wore them. Their comfy and quick to just slip on and made me feel really summery! Also, because England doesnt really know what summer is, other that the bright spells here and there, i've been wearing these 'creeper style' plimsolls from a charity shop. I'd looked for creepers for months on end, until i found some in a shop at £16.99, i decided not to buy them and went to a charity shop and found them for just £2.50!!

What is your most worn accessory?
- I wear my sunglasses all the time even when its not even very sunny. I just love seeing things in a sepia sort of colour because it makes me believe its actually sunny outside haha. I got these in Camden for £5 after seeing people in Made in Chelsea and other celebs rocking similar ones out. Also i've been wearing this bow under my bun for a sweet girly effect in my hair, its just so pretty.

What is your most worn clothing item?
- I loooove this blouse, its so pretty and can be worn to school, casually or to a party with some denim shorts or disco pants. It can look really smart with the pointed collar and shoulder pads so its great for sixth form this winter too! (Also from a charity shop-£3. Im balmy about charity shops!)

What is your most worn foundation?
- I dont tend to wear foundation as i havent found one that doesnt dry out my skin or make it all patchy. Not at all meaning to brag, but my skin doesnt really need any coverage or brightening but ive had this foundation for some time, Rimmel London Stay Matte Foundation in 103 True Ivory, and if im going out i'll wear it to long out the process of dressing up and getting ready

What is your most worn blush/bronzer?
- Again i dont normally wear much on my skin but i'll wear it mixed with my powder to a party for a tinted glow. I use this bella pierre mineral blush in MB001 Desert Rose, which my brother got me. I cant use it without mixing it with something lighter as it makes me look orange/red which in my opinion is not a good look!

What is your most worn lip product?
- I really have loved this Primark Lip Stain Pen, review here , it stays on and is a really pretty colour and i am just so happy with it

What is your most worn mascara?
I've had Collection 2000 Extreme mascara for a few years now, i love it sooo much. I love the shape of the brush and its not really wet or to thick making your eyelashes clumpy and heavy. Its just perfectly in the middle meaning it coats the lashes in enough mascara to make them strong but moisturised meaning if you want to curl them they stay up for a good few hours. This product is running out and i will definitely get it again because i can rely on it to make my eyelashes perfect every time and for around £3 i cant complain!

Hope you had a good week now that the holidays have finished, and i am tagging you all to do this tag. I loo forward to reading your most worn summer things and if you have any questions feel free to message me or comment below.
