Kukee | Amazing statement jewellery online store!

Hi guys :) So recently I came across an online jewellery store called Kukee, visit here, which is an English based online jewellery store.

I looked through the majority of their website to see what they had to offer, there was quite a lot and when i went back i saw some bits i wish i go too!

I ordered on Friday 17th of May, postage is £2.20 for me and the website claim that postage is between 4-6 days. I few minutes after i had placed my order, the website was updated with a message saying that she had gone away and orders would be dispatched on her return. Lucky for me, she sent out my order that very day.

I woke up that Saturday morning, and whilst getting ready for work i noticed a small brown package in front of my door with my name written across it! I was soooo super excited and grateful that my order had come so quickly (although it was due to circumstances).

Okay so now you are probably wondering what the big fuss is about? well if you haven't checked the store out yet I'll show you my picks from Kukee!

First up i got this 'Hamsa Palm Moon and Star' Necklace which was just £2! It is a beautifully detailed Hamsa hand in an antique silver. It comes on a 18" chain sitting below the collar bone.

My attention was immediately drawn to this gorgeous pendant necklace. It is a small antique silver disk with two hands making a pinkie promise. I bought two of these, one for me and one for my best friend, and they cost just £2. This one is also on a 18" chain.

The last thing i picked up i had seen whilst browsing through blogger, which is this infinity bracelet on a burnt red colour cord/chain. I have worn this since i got it and its so comfortable to wear you hardly notice it, although other people do as I've had compliments on it! This one was £2.50- i know, what amazing prices for such amazing items! The infinity symbol and chain are in a gold colour and it does up with a clip hook and several links to change the size!

Overall I'm over the moon with what i bought and i have already been eyeing up my future purchases such as a gold lion head chain necklace for just £4 and also 2 antique coloured above the knuckle rings!

This purchase came with a business/contact card and also 20% off my next purchase which is so generous and amazing!

Have you ordered anything from Kukee or seen anything on the website you might like?

let's all go to asda...

OH MY, IT'S BEEN TOO LONG SINCE I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO BLOGGGG!!!

I hope you are all well!

If you didn't twig from the title of this post, it's about asda.
The other evening i went to a big Asda's that's about half an hour from me, i had a good snoop around and found some bits that i wanted to show you!
Most people wouldn't dream of buying fashionable things in Asda, (i never used too, oh how wrong i was!), but if you have the time to shop in one of the big ones that has almost EVERYTHING in it from food to clothes to makeup to electronics etc.

I've recently been decorating my room on a cheap budget, it was previously black and pink themed and i started to go off that and really liked the idea of shabby chic with floral prints, so i painted my wardrobes and made some curtains (yes, made! from a bed cover) and have been getting some accessories. If you want a blog post on some of the diy and cheap decorations for my new room i have, let me know! So i went straight to the bedroom section which had several varieties, styles and coloured bed covers for such a cheap price, i was in heaven!

sorry for the creases, i literally just swapped it and got it out of its packet!
I picked up this cover and pillowcase set for £13 (king size), its white and has beautiful, almost watercolour flowers on the bottom growing upwards. The pillows are the same but the flowers take up the whole side. Its also reversible and is an orange/coral pinstripe pattern on the other side, although I'm pretty sure that would clash way too much.

I also went to the jewellery section which had a few stands of half price or sale items which i eyed up instantly. I only found 2 things as the others were either broken or i had something similar. The first being these chained collar clips.

They are silver gems surrounded by a pearl frame attached by two chains of different lengths. They were half price from £4 (making them £2) which is a really great price and they look so pretty but make a great statement with collared blouses.

And then i found these earrings which are similar to the ones i saw in Topshop a few months ago which are just these Pegasus unicorn that are supposed to look like tapers (but the cheat version if you don't want big holes in  your ears!)

They kinda remind me of the monopoly board pieces (or scene it board pieces if you know that game!) and I've just pushed them through my ear lobes haha!

And then last but definitely not least my mum found these Yankee candles (I've  never seen super markets sell them so this was definitely a must have!), they had all the sizes and about 6 or 7 different scents but this was my favourite by far and it smells amazing and its called Rainwashed Berry. I haven't tried the sampler size so i hope they are just as strong as the big jar ones but for £1 it's gotta be worth a try.. right?!

And there's a picture of the little heart cut out candle holder that I've put it into! cute or what?!

Have you found any interesting bits in supermarkets you've visited?

spikes and studs galore

This summer studs and spikes have wormed their way in to fashion and have had a huuuge impact on everyones statements. It seems like everyone have come to terms with the fact that not only heavy metal lovers can pull it off. Some people completely cover themselves in s&s whereas others add a hint here and there to keep it subtle but still rock it.

SHOES-

These sculpted heels have studs in their curve. Because they are already such a big statement, the studs just make them even more loveable and because they look so good people are less worried about how they would actually walk in them (they dont look too comfy)

CLOTHES-

Studded denim shorts with a quirky band top or a cute blouse are very on trend at the minute, a lot of people have taken it upon themselves to DIT (do it themselves) and stud the heck out of their clothes like me instead of spending a whole whad of money on them. The Leather jacket looks gorg with denim shorts or black milk galaxy leggings and look good with a minimal amount of studs and spikes but also look good when heaving with the things.

JEWELLERY-

Spikes on ear cuffs, choker necklaces, bracelets and rings are a must have this Summer, they look cute but also give your outfit a rockyfied edge. If you aren't daring enough to go the whole hog with the studs and spikes on your jacket or shorts, then the jewellery is for you! It looks great without looking 'over done'.

BEAUTY-

It has now come to my attention that you can buy small stud look-a-like stickers to let your nails get in with the trend. They look so cute and can also be done with nail art so you can do it yourself.

Do you like the studs and spikes trend? Do you own something with them on?

how i organise my earrings

My earrings used to be all jumbled around in a big jewellery box and I was never able to find a matching pair or the pair I wanted, so I thought it was time to hunt down an earring organiser so they all had their own place and I can find them when I need too. I was planning to go to a car boot sale this upcoming Saturday but my mum came home yesterday with another bargain just for me!

She found this beautiful jewellery stand in the shape of a body with hooks for rings, necklaces, bracelets etc and a wire netted bottom (under-skirt) for your earrings. This means there is a space for everything all on one stand and the best part was.. it was only £5!! It looks brand new even though it was from a charity shop and I'm absolutely in love with it! I have already sorted all of my earring onto it and it looks so pretty.

The jewellery stand itself is a gold/bronze/brown and consists of swirling hooks and amazing twisted detail. The body is a dusty yellow/skin colour with a white corset which has baby pink pinstripes and green leaves on it. It has puffed dress features on either side with pink flowery lace and beautiful little bows. The are also 3 dangley bits on the front with different beads which I think is absolutely adorable. The other thing that fascinates me about this stand is the beaded pendant type thing underneath the skirt which hangs down like a bird in it's bird cage.

sorry for the pants picture!

I am so happy with my jewellery stand and amazed that it was in the charity shop for just £5 considering the amount of detail that is on it! I think these types of stands are in most jewellery shops, Claire's or maybe you can also find them in a charity shop or at a car boot sale for cheap cheap cheap!

How do you keep your jewellery organised and stored? Comment below, I'd love to see it!
